Andrew Slocum is the founder and principal of Green Development Company, a full-service development and consulting firm involved in all phases of the development process within the single-family, multi-family, affordable housing, and cannabis sectors. He is driven by the desire to seek projects that are considered to have a positive social and environmental impact on development. Andrew breaks each project into three subcategories: environmental responsiveness, resource efficiency, and community and cultural sensitivity.

Green Development Company recently won an RFP contract with the City of Pasadena in the State of California to develop, manage, and run the Housing Department’s Accessory Dwelling Unit Pilot Program. Before founding Green Development Company, Andrew worked full-time with The Phillips Group in Pasadena, where he supervised, scheduled, and coordinated with developers and project consultants to ensure necessary approvals and adherence to set schedules.

Outside of California, Andrew worked with The Historic Preservation Office in Phoenix, Arizona, to preserve sites designated for historic preservation. He volunteers with Skid Row Housing Trust in the City of Los Angeles, as well as San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity. In addition, he is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIA). Andrew has a background in finance and is currently attending Columbia University’s Corporate Finance Program. He is in the process of obtaining his Real Estate License in California, Arizona, and Wisconsin.
